Offering a professional counselling service, based in Amesbury, Wiltshire
Do you need support? Maybe you are feeling anxious, confused, or low? Life in a pandemic will look different to all of us. A bit like being in the same sea but in different boats. Some of the boats are quite luxurious, some are hand built rafts, basic but floating along okay. Others are dustbin lids, about to capsize any minute. It is a time of concern for so many, with a lack of control and uncertainty about the future. Perhaps a sense of loss around what you thought you might have been doing in 2020 and 2021. Finding new routines and ways to cope with lockdown or restrictions, and wondering if and when this will end. It’s okay to sail your ship your own way, be safe and show yourselves some compassion. And maybe, right now, the pandemic may not or cannot be a focus for you. Contact me for a no obligation chat about starting counselling therapy.
Counselling can enable you to talk about situations and experiences that you find difficult or distressing, and to explore your emotions and thoughts, helping to gain self-awareness and make changes if desired. Maybe you are feeling anxious, experiencing a relationship breakdown or a bereavement, or other changes in your life that you are struggling with.
It can be a relief to be able to express yourself without judgement in a confidential space. Knowing ourselves at a deeper level can enable us to make changes and make better decisions in life.
Based in Amesbury, offering one to one counselling for adults via telephone, online and when safe to do so, face to face in person counselling. Taking place in a safe, supportive and confidential space. I work from a cabin in my garden, it’s a calm and reflective space that I have created. This is also where I work with online and telephone clients, enjoying high speed internet connections.
I am a qualified counsellor, registered with the BACP, working from an integrative approach, with a person-centred influence. I believe that the therapeutic relationship holds potential for supporting growth and change. I am a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy and work within their Ethical Framework.
