Welcome! My name is Lisa and I’m a counsellor based in Amesbury, Wiltshire. I am qualified, insured and a registered member of both the BACP and NCPS.
I offer a safe and supportive space for you to explore your experiences, your health concerns, differences or difficulties that you may be facing. I will listen to you without judgment. I can offer challenge when wanted, and can be with your experiences gently and supportively.
I qualified with a diploma in 2019 with the Counselling and Psychotherapy Awarding Body (CPCAB) and as a part of that worked with the charity MIND and within a Women’s Refuge. Following on from that I qualified with the respected Counselling Tutor team to offer telephone and online therapy. I am currently studying to become an advanced practitioner working with grief and loss. Since 2019 I have committed to ongoing Continuous Professional Development including working with suicide, bereavement, working with trauma, anxiety and many other area’s.
I have lived experience of neurodiversity, and regularly work with neurodivergent clients. Additionally I have supported many parents of neurodiverse children of all ages.
My professional background includes dementia care, supporting unpaid carers, maternity care and antenatal teaching.
Do contact me to find out more, and to discover if we may be able to work together. I’d always recommend speaking to a potential counsellor before starting work with them.
